Hi I'm Jackie, a UX Researcher from Toronto.
I’m a fourth-year Honours Psychology student at the University of Waterloo, specializing in qualitative and quantitative research—combining interviews, usability studies, and surveys to uncover actionable insights.

Most recently at Hootsuite, I worked as a User Researcher, conducting studies and building research systems that made insights more accessible and useful across product and strategy teams.

Before that, I spent the early part of my career in product and UX research roles at fast-paced startups, where I learned how business priorities, design trade-offs, and user needs intersect in real time. That experience gave me a strong foundation in how decisions are made and the importance of aligning user value with business goals.
I’m especially passionate about applying research within B2B and B2C SaaS, where I aim to bridge data and design to drive product growth and strategy.

My curiosity about people began long before I entered UX research—shaped by moving between six different schools and cities before turning 18, where I learned to observe, adapt, and connect across diverse perspectives; a skill that now defines how I approach UX research and human-centered design.
